Planting Seeds of

Food, Relationship & Community

Our world could use more gardens. Not only are gardens a healthy source of food and nutrients for us and wildlife, but they are also the building blocks to improving the world we live in and helping us as individuals have a profound connection to nature, life, beauty, and abundance. Our educational farm and garden is a unique example of all those things, and proof that you can grow a lot in a tiny space.

Oliver’s Gardens in Lake Dallas, Texas, is a quarter-acre organic, urban farmstead on a mission of renewal in our lives and community. We blend the science of aeroponics and permaculture to create a holistic approach to gardening.

We invite you to join us on the path. We offer a little bit of something for everyone, including:

•   Horticulture and Permaculture enthusiasts

•   Gardening professionals and novices

•   Students and teachers

•   Tower Garden enthusiasts

•   Children of all ages

We assist the areas of Lake Dallas, Shady Shores, Hickory Creek, Corinth, Denton, Little Elm, Lewisville, Flower Mound, Gainesville, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Waco, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Abilene, San Angelo, and beyond.

Pantry Items

Our jams, jellies, and spices are all the rage. But don’t overlook homestead products such as garden aprons, cleaning rags, and even our own Oliver’s Gardens T-shirts. All of this and more can be found on our bountiful shelves.

Field Trips

So much learning and healing take place in a garden. Bring your small group to explore our path and make plenty of interesting discoveries along the way. Who knows, you might learn a trick or two.

Schedule a time where Annette can teach and speak on a variety of subjects related to plants, nature, and growing. Nothing is off-limits in our conversations, which can take place at our garden or at your location.

Have you talked to your plants today?

No upcoming events at the moment

Everyone should talk to their plants! Believe it or not, they can hear us and respond favorably and grow faster to our love and attention — whether it be through speech or physical touch. So go ahead, give it a try. You’ll be glad you did!

My kids and I enjoyed exploring and learning at Oliver’s Gardens today! I am inspired to get busy in my own yard, creating spaces that are more thoughtful and intentional with rainwater!

They [Oliver's Gardens] were at the Dallas Summit for Juice Plus and they were extremely helpful in helping me try and choose seedlings for my tower. I just ordered through them again today! Highly recommend!

So you think you know what jalapeño jelly is do ya? Ha! You know nothing until you get it from Oliver’s Gardens. Nothing!
